FOOTBALL F##KIN!
Football F##kin is a celebration of football.
No matter what happens between Monday to Saturday, hero’s are made on Sunday afternoons.
Football sees past prejudices, race, creed, religion , or backgrounds.
Its about how multiculturalism is a success in Australia.
Its about how playing the round ball game is a cure for the depression and anxiety of life.
Plus, its also about the beers after the game.
As they say in certain parts of Sydney, this is football, this is football f##kin.
In 2025, I followed a men’s over 35s football team around for a season covering games, capturing moments, and seeing what it was like to play in a Sunday league comp in the St George area of Sydney.
Football F##kin is my upcoming work that showcases how football is a feel good story for the modern world we live in. Each week people who would not normally socialize with each other, come together to play the round ball game.
The themes for this work is all about how football is life, how its used as a cure for depression in the modern age, and how multicultural Australia is a success.
This work is being compiled into my second photo journal with an estimated finish time of mid 2027 (hopefully).
