HELLO!

My name is Giacomo (James for short) and I am photographer based in the inner city suburb of Newtown.

I started GJZ PHOTOGRAPHY many moons ago and have worked across multiple genres such as portraiture, editorial, business, and commercial work.

My photographic style has been crafted after many years of taking pictures and I have been lucky enough to have my work featured in Australia, overseas, and received multiple accolades throughout the years.

The people who contact me are those who need portraits taken, business professionals needing headshots, models in need of portfolio updates, brands looking for that editorial look, and creatives needing portraits taken that are a little bit different.

I also love doing my own personal work such as landscape photography, capturing the streets of Sydney, exploring subcultures, and now teaching students.

Website refreshes - everyone selling and needs someone to photograph there business, services, or products.

Creative portraits - anything requiring big backgrounds, a creative touch, and something out of the ordinary that no one else wants to try.

Studio work as well as on location - from pure white studio backgrounds to sunset looks on the beach, I can help.

Celebrations - weddings of less then 20 (sometimes 30) people, engagement sessions, baptisms, and christenings.

Business portraits - LinkedIn head shots, conferences, website refreshes, events, as well as media releases.
